Amon: The Darkside of the Devilman Complete

He's done it! In less than two months, OtherSideofSky has completely translated and typeset, single-handedly, the entirety of Amon: The Darkside of Devilman by Yu Kinutani. Truly, an amazing feat. Thank you, OtherSideofSky.

Devilman Lady by Go Nagai and Dynamic Pro

Presenting Go Nagai's Devilman Lady volume 2! The first volume of this work was translated way back in 2008 by SaHa, I believe. It's a fairly graphic manga featuring lots of nudity and rape, so beware.

Let me say a few words about this project. Firstly, volume 2 (and soon, volume 3) of Devilman Lady, translated by Farah (translator of Neptise Scans), is a joint project between Dynamic Pro Scanlations and Happy-Scans! Volume 4 onward will be translated by OtherSideofSky who will also do a majority of the editing, while I'll continue to do the two page spreads and Wright will clean. Come October, I'll be taking over the typesetting for OtherSideofSky for as long as he needs me to.

Amon: The Darkside of the Devilman Volume 6 Chapter Releases

Another post dedicated to OtherSideofSky's Amon chapter releases. This time, we're starting off with the beginning of the end, chapter 1 of Amon volume 6. OtherSideofSky has a bit to say about an aspect of the translation:

A note on Cadney's name: While it is usually written in katakana (カドネ), Prof. Rainuma sometimes uses kanji. They are 門 and 音, which mean "gate" and "sound" respectively. When combined, they become 闇, which means "darkness". I spell it "Cadney" because it's usually written in katakana and "cagney" was the closest non-Japanese name I could find.

Devilman vs Getter Robo Complete

Another day, another release! OtherSideofSky takes down Devilman vs Getter Robo on his way to completing Amon. Here's a message from the scanlator himself: 

Here's the complete version of Devilman vs Getter Robo in one .rar and with chapter one redone. In addition to looking nicer, the new chapter one has about 8 new pages that weren't in the magazine version and fixes one translation error I noticed looking back on it.

Amon: The Darkside of the Devilman Volume 5 Complete

Following up his chapter release from yesterday, OtherSideofSky has just released chapter 7 of Amon. This marks the completion of the fifth volume! Volume 6 is the final volume of this story, and releases for that will begin on Friday.
