Here's the next installment of UFO Robo Grendizer by Ota. It serves as a powerful warning that any molesters you encounter may, in fact, be Vegans. Truly terrifying. Truly.
UFO Robo Grendizer Volume 1 Chapter 3
Thanks to Ryoma@Mexat.com, Hokuto no Gun and HappyScans! for making this release possible. I've received the script for the first chapter of Mars volume 4, so releases of that will begin soon!

Vegans... There are also vegan monsters in Toriko that almost destroyed the planet in the past.
ReplyDeleteHow terrifying. They could end all (plant) life on Earth as we know it!
DeleteI guess vegeterains are being overlooked... If i were a vegetarian i would be offended... Sorry i couldn't help myself...
ReplyDeleteI haven't commented recently, but you're continuing to do an amazing job. Thanks a lot and i can't w8 to read Jack.
Once I finish up Getter Robo Anthology, look forward to some more Violence Jack. Releases won't be by chapter (as Violence Jack doesn't have them) but by arc.
DeleteThis great, this is great! So since you'll be releasing Jack in arcs/volumes when does the first arc end? At volume 2?
ReplyDeleteThe first arc ended on page 262 of the first volume. The second arc continues into volume 2, followed by the third arc.
DeleteThanks for letting me know. I guess i'll have to make these into arcs by myself then.
ReplyDeleteWhat? That makes no sense. The arcs are clearly labeled by a title page in the manga.

I meant that in order to make an offer for a Jack torrent at bakabt i need to offer it by arcs :P. So i'll do something like "Violence Jack [Arc1]" which will have pages 1-262 included only :P.
ReplyDeleteDoing a torrent by arcs is silly since they can differ wildly in length and the cut-off point isn't always the best. It's better to just do it by volumes, as it was intended. Plus, I can do my own torrents. Thanks.
DeleteOw yeah - do you guys give me the permision to make a torrent on bakabt.com?
ReplyDeleteI can't exactly stop you, but I prefer doing releases of our scanlations myself. Whether it be torrents or DDL. I'd rather not have a bunch of different torrents for the same releases floating around out there.
DeleteOkay. You do know that there are torrents with all of your completed projects on that site right? And those people haven't even bothered to ask you. So whether it's me or someone else - those torrents will appear. With that in mind now - would you let me?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm fully aware. There's also tons of people reading this stuff on online readers and giving sites like Mangafox money for our scanlation work. Do I like it? No. Can I stop it? No. I gave you my stance on the matter, do whatever you want.
DeleteAlso, there's a 'reply' option on the comments.
Your wish is my command. That's a big disappointment for me because i really like the manga and wanted to upload it for a long time. Oh well i guess some anonymous guy will do it instead of me, without even asking.
ReplyDeleteI won't do it because you're one of my favourite groups.
Thanks, but if you really want to upload it then go for it. I'm just saying that I'll handle it so I don't really see the point. I don't really care one or way another since it doesn't actually effect me in any major way.
DeleteHi! Great work, i only had not so good scans of the french edition, this is waaay better, and do you plan to translate the continuation of the Go Nagai/Ken Ishikawa version? (the chapters done by Okazaki) since they are now finally collected in one volume in Japan? We never thought this would happen!
ReplyDeleteProbably not, as this was a commissioned project from a reader.
