I've been waiting for the translation to reach this point since I've been curious about those "human doggies" for years. Amputees aren't anything unusual in guro manga these days but I'm pretty sure Nagai got there first. Can't imagine the outrage that caused in 1973...

And now I learn that Himiko from Mazinkaiser SKL is based on the first Slum Queen. Learn something new everyday. Something I forgot to ask but are you planning a full volume 1 release once the last chapter for it is done?
ReplyDeleteYeah, we'll be doing a full volume release. Though, it may come out a little bit after we release the last chapter for volume 1 since we need to redo the earlier parts (chapters 1 - 16).
