Genius! I like the combination of the adult, cinematic, SF horror tone of the storytelling and the childlike, diagrammatic clarity of the artwork.
ReplyDeleteThe chemistry reminds me a bit of Kamen Rider Black, Shotaro Ishinomori's late-period, subversive masterpiece. Has anyone checked that out for scanlation? That was the manga-world equivalent of Gene Roddenberry redoing Star Trek, but in a much edgier tone.
